ABOUT US

PUGLIA POSITIVA

“In Villanova di Ostuni, sailor Marco Rossato, a 44-year-old from Vicenza who has always loved sailing, in particular, who lost his legs in a motorcycle accident in 2001, has found a dock already equipped with a width and angle of inclination suitable for disabled people in wheelchairs and a team that is already used to accommodate sportsmen and special guests, this is the team involved in the project “Sea without barriers” along the coasts of Salento with Euphoria, the boat accessible to all.

To welcome Marco Rossato and Muttley, on the dock of the Marco Carani nautica, there were also representatives of the Navy League of Ostuni, of the Municipality, of the Coast Guard delegation of Villanova, members of the Lions club Ostuni Host and members of the Italian sailors. Friends have reserved special and crampy pampering for Muttley who has now become a social star.
The goal of the company, human as well as sports, is to let everyone know about his Tri Sail4All project (where Tri stands for trimaran but also for “tricolor”) promoted by the amateur sports association “I Timonieri Sbandati” of which Rossato is co-founder and promotes the idea that you can reach great goals even if you have a disability, that there are no limits at sea if you are prudent professionals and equipped with the right aids on the boat, unlike the mainland where instead It is necessary for the public body to deal with the elimination of barriers and ‘walls’ of all kinds. “
